My students were the recipient of a donation from Alexis Ohanian. We've been hit hard with funding cuts in our state and really appreciate the help and CNN for spreading the word.

Thank your for spreading the word. It is with the support of individuals such as Alexis Ohanian that students will receive help. I really appreciate what he is doing. As a teacher who recently started using Donors Choose, it is very important at a time we are have less funds to help our students. This week is a special match week. Even after the 10,000 is gone for this match, all donors choose projects can be matched with a special code. This is an excellent time to help schools and get you donation matched Donations are also tax deductible. When you make your donation they send you an email to acknowledge the donation. I am not sure if all projects have the same code, but my project code is BLOOM. Find a school near you or a project that addresses something you care about! http://www.donorschoose.org/mommacobb
