Barbie on the campaign trail: 'Barbie for President' doll announces 2012 bid today

She's beautiful, blonde, curvy and has had an amazing career!

Since she first started "working" in 1957 she has been a dentist, doctor, nurse, a surgeon and an aerobics instructor. But there is one job this famous female has struggled with: Becoming president.

Of course we're talking about Barbie. This morning on "Starting Point with Soledad O'Brien," we're getting an exclusive look at the new doll as she makes her fifth run at the oval office.

Mattel teamed up with the non-partisan "White House Project" for the "2012 Barbie for President" doll. Check out the video above.
