Will Gingrich drop from the GOP presidential race? Rep says candidate is determined to keep fighting till a candidate gets to 1,144

Joe DeSantis with Newt Gingrich's Presidential Campaign on if his candidate's focus is shifting in the race or is ready to drop out.

"Newt is determined to keep fighting until one candidate has 1,144 or if nobody gets to 1,144 to go on to the convention and make the case individually to the delegates on the floor," DeSantis says.

"He wouldn't have gotten in the race if he didn't believe that was a unique perspective and a unique vision for the country, and he's determined to keep making that vision, and one of the ways that he is going to keep making that case is by talking about the Republican party platform," he adds. "Newt's focus has always been on the future of the country, where it needs to go."
