This guy is a complete and utter joke as a human being. Nothing he says makes any sense, he's constantly rambling incoherently about any inane thought that pops into his feeble brain. That being said, I think he would be an excellent complement to Mitt Romney on the Republican ticket this fall.

Just to clarify, in all fairness to Soledad, she did an AWESOME job of holding this guy's feet to the fire! The point I was making about Edward R. Murrow was in no way intended to be a negative reflection on her.

    A few things:

    1. To be a "Communist" means that you're a member of the Communist Party. This country has such a party. As far as I know, no Democrat or Republican in Congress is a member. Does West have evidence to prove otherwise, or is he just making wild assumptions based on intellectual laziness?

    2. While I'm personally not a Communist, being a Communist is NOT synonymous with being a traitor. Communists believe a lot of things that I disagree with, but last time I checked, in America you have the right to have a political opinion, even if it's an unpopular one, without being branded a traitor by the government.

    3. Didn't we already settle this when Senator McCarthy held his little hearings? I wonder how the interview would have played differently if Edward R. Murrow had been the one asking the questions....

    4. Rep. West is a nutcase, anyway. He's just proving how crazy and out of touch the Teabaggers truly are.

I have to admit, I am really disappointed in Rep. West. As a current member of the military, I remember reading about the circumstances that led to his early retirement from the Army. While I may not have agreed with what he did, I respected him for it. I believed then that he did what did to protect the men in his unit.

This interview is appalling to me. If you are going to make a sensationalist claim such as to call any member let alone a large number of Congressmen Communist, then at least have the intestinal fortitude to answer direct simple questions relative to the claims you are making. What members of Congress are you referring too Rep. West? If what you say is true Rep. West, then answer the question. I have lost all respect for this man as an elected official of Congress.

I have to admit that the courageous Allen West DID answer the question. Soledad had the list in front of her. It's as if she never heard of the Progressive Caucus or knew the connection between progressives, socialists, Marxists and communists. It's as if she never heard of or is hiding what she knows about Barack Hussein Barry Soetero Obama and Frank Marshall Davis or Barack and Bill Ayers/Michael Klonsky/Small Schools Workshop, or Michael Klonsky and the Communist Party USA Marxist Leninist which was recognized by communist China or hasn't heard of Obama's Saul Alinsky mentors Mike Kruglik & Jerry Kellman, or David Axelrod's communist mentors Don Rose & David Canter...
      Does Soledad read?
