You will not get to a recognition of marriage equality as a fundamental right unless you treat it as one and that doesn't mean a politically ploy to throw it back to the states to decide. Federalism from the Obama Administration? Give me a break. And of course it occurred just before the Obama campaign ran to Hollywood for fundraising (today) that was being stalled because of this issue.
