Nearly 200 of America's mayors are in Orlando for their annual conference this week. They are trying to come up with ways to help the nation move forward, and topping the agenda is job creation and infrastructure.
This morning on "Starting Point," Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter, who will be inaugurated as the president of the U.S. Conference of Mayors on Saturday, explains why job creation is top of mind with mayors across the country.

Hopefully Mayor Micheal Nutter and other mayors of other cities do ban together and come up with some jobs for the populous. After all,cities and state rely on taxes and people buying from stores or purchasing homes etc. Without jobs, cities/towns become stagnant,people travel to and throw to a place where they can obtain work and structure for their families. Also I believe in a city such as Philadelphia, not only jobs are needed, job training is a goodthing as well,because everyone hasn't tooken higher learning courses or can afford to do so,not merely financially,yet time is of the essence in many Philadelphians lifes. Therefore perhaps the Mayor can impliment Man Power, Job Corp, OIC-rev Sullivan, and things of that nature. Although fast food work abounds, it really doesn't make ends meet. And contracting jobs flirish,however everyone isn't qualified or choose to be a contractor,repairing streets,roads,bridges and the like. Perhaps larger Malls/retail stores and or Casino's.
