Yes they should but even if they don't it's their right not to change the policy. While unfair, the notion of inclusion is a utopian idea.

    POLITICS: Overheated & Dangerous

This is a dangerous and sad commentary on local and countrywide political discourse during this election process. About three weeks ago, my 83 year old mother-in-law had a terrifying experience while driving in the Phoenix area. A driver behind her sped up, passed her on the left, then cut in front of her and stopped just in time for the red light. The 50ish year old (obviously Republican) white man got out of his truck, ranting and gesturing to his bumper sticker which said, "Don't Re-Elect-You Can't Fix Stupid! No Second Term." Alice was frightened and in shock. She did nothing wrong driving but she did have an old bumper sticker on the rear of her car with the sunset symbol (for Obama) and 2008. Unfortunately, Alice was so stunned she didn't even think to get his license plate number or truck description. According to AZ law, had Alice hit this maniac, she would have been ticketed and held responsible for an accident. Local news channels never called me with any questions about whether to air the story. I felt this incident was a public safety issue and if the man did it again, someone would get the license number and call the police. Fox News did not even take any information to contact me! Alice has several health issues and could have had a heart attack or God only knows! Apparently, only distorted facts, Republican slanted stories and the most embarrassing topics like SB1070, the 10K taxpayor funded, "Obama Birther Investigation" by Sheriff Joe Arpio or Govenor Brewer's appetite for future law suits, yet another cut and/or conservative proposals for AZ's legal immigrants and the rest of the her constituents that are Independents or Democrats are given the most news air time are the most important. I, like countless other Zonies are embarrassed to even say, "I live in Arizona." Do you blame us?

Bush-era tax cuts that directly affect improving the middle class and creating jobs should be renewed. Any other tax cuts that do not positively affect good outcomes for the economy should not be renewed.
