Colorado massacre suspect applied to join a gun range but the gun shop owner was skeptical – Drew Griffin reports

In June Colorado massacre suspect James Holmes applied to join a gun range but the gun shop owner who called to leave Holmes a message felt uncomfortable after hearing his message machine.

The store operator says, Holmes' voice message recording sounded "guttural, freakish, maybe drunk, weird and bizarre.' The range operator then warned his staff aginst selling any products to Holmes unless he came to the store in person to speak to him.
