Fmr. prosecutor Rick Kornfeld on possible insanity defense for the Colorado shooter

Fmr. prosecutor Rick Kornfeld is no stranger to controversial clients. Not too long ago the fmr. federal prosecutor represented Columbine Killer Dylan Klebold's Parents. When asked if the evidence compiled by police so far rules out a possible insanity defense, the criminal attorney replied, Holmes' "smarts" don't necessarily "undermine the fact that he could have a mental disease or defect."

Kornfeld went on to say, with the evidence against Holmes, you're not defending on the action but rather his mental state.
