Rep. Marsha Blackburn on 'caliber' of vice presidential candidates for Romney, and why voters will look forward to a Romney bus tour

There's rampant speculation about who GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney will choose as a vice presidential running mate. Fmr. Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty, Ohio Sen. Rob Portman and Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan's names have been floated as options. But when Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) was asked about whether she was on the short list, she said pretty clearly that she's not.

"No, I am not," Blackburn says. "You know what? I think that we're going to have a wonderful VP choice and everybody is looking forward to know it."

"You know, just look at the conversation that we're having right here," she adds. "The individuals, the caliber of individuals that our nominee Mitt Romney has had before him to select as a running mate and each of them pique the American people's interest on different ways."

Rep. Blackburn also talks about why voters are looking forward to seeing Romney on a cross-country bus tour, scheduled to start August 10th.
