Sound off on 'Starting Point:' Submit your own 'End Point' video to be aired on the show

Now you can really be a part of the conversation on Starting Point...

We're starting a new assignment with iReport called "My End Point." You'll get the same parameters our team gets – give us a 20-second video with your point of view on what you learned during the show that day.

If we like it, you'll see it on TV during our "End Point" segment.

Submit your videos through CNN iReport here.

So here's your chance to be part of the national dialogue. Be sure to tune in to "Starting Point" weekdays at 7am Eastern to see if your entry makes the cut.

Why doesn't anyone ask how a man (Allen) running a war in Afghanistan, has the TIME to send 20000 emails to anyone?

At our taxpayer expense for his big salary?

Wow,I cant believe how you made yourself look confused when speaking with Rep. Heck. There really wasn't anything confusing about what he was explaining. You are comparing apples and oranges with the two Rices. At least try to hide your bias a little bit.

I have a suggestion for FEMA regarding the areas devastated and that need a total rebuild. Since by now all insurance issues should have been resolved, why not bulldoze each area. The sewer, water and elctrical hookups are already there then why not clear the lots quickly and put FEMA trailers there yesterday? or Position them in such a way as to allow rebuilding as well as supply a place for the people to stay? This could have been done at least a week ago, Or some kinda plan like that! Makes alot more sense than to rinky dink around like they have been doing! They ned to get their act together!!

Are you interviewing for a news anchor or some other position and don’t want to pay for an ad? What I have learned lately is CNN had no veteran stories on Veterans Day or it would not have filled the air with Petraeus affair instead of Veteran issues. I learned congress has decided to make the $4 Trillion cut the standard and avoid balancing the budget. Kick the can on $12 Trillion. I learned CNN overall view is to report stories that suggest Clean Coal that supports their advertising champagne.

Also, we were completely wrong on fomrat choice. In hind sight we should have either stayed with audio, or gone to a short YouTube friendly video fomrat, with higher production values..Still, it's all a learning process!

Soledad & CNN, why don't you go ahead and admit that you are huge Obama backers, just like MSNBC. So often you are caught reading Obama campaign handouts as real news, caught leaving out key parts of stories to either make Obama look good or Romney look bad or you just won't cover important stories if they portray Obama in a negative light. I think that CNN, MSNBC, CBS, NBC & ABC are involved in campaigning for Obama that you should be required to give significant free air time for Romney. All of you should be ashamed of yourselves and shouldn't call yourself a journalist. If you can't forget you personal political preferences when doing your job, you should be fired and never work as journalist again. You are truly the scum of the journalistic world and don't deserve the privilage of being part of our so-called "checks on power, serving the people of the USA". You no longer are independent or neutral in your stories or reporting, so what good are you in keeping our government in check, especially since you support the Obama administrations push to further increase the governments reach and hold on the economy. Get out of the business you hack, unless you can become neutral again and report the news not make up the news to fit your own bias.

Thank you for doing a more balanced show this morning. I am curious. What percentage of America's total tax dollars do the top 1% currently pay? I was told that 40% comes from the top 1%. If that is the case, how much more do we think they should pay. By the way, I am not in the top 1%.

Also, I would be curious how much the female speakers at the Democratic convention are being paid in comparison to their male conterparts.

Why would anyone submit a video to CNN's Starting Point With Soledad O'Brien knowing it will never be seen by more than a few people?

Is CNN anchor Soledad O’Brien an idiot or just Inept? "CNN STAR CAUGHT READING LIBERAL BLOG ON AIR"

Also, How can CNN claim to be objectively in the middle when they are constantly pulling stunts like O'Brien did? This one of the reasons I no longer watch CNN!

Why does John Berman have to sit at the round table with Soledad? it is way too crowded at the table, especially with the three guests. I mean Soledad is a star! why is she bogged down with so many people at her table? this looks like a hodge podge and very unprofessional as if Soledad can't handle her assignment! please change this hodge podge now! it is very confusing.

    Regarding The "gun debate"

I disagree with M. Hoover (even though I love looking at her smile while I disagree). We should be having the gun debate today. We should have been having it yesterday. Putting it off until "tomorrow" will only lead to more gun violence.

I am not "anti-gun", but this country desperately needs to confront this cult of gun violence that is growing. I don't know if it starts with a rational understanding of what the Second Amendment really says, or promoting better responsible gun ownership, or rational limitations on the quality and quantity of guns and ammo a person can own. Regardless, we need to be engaged in the debate now and everyday until we solve this national crisis.

Americans had a chance to vote for a man who would do the right thing no matter the political cost in 2008, but they voted another political hack

Glad to hear you feel the same. I have friends who are luntisg after Kindles but I just don't get it.I still feel heartbroken at the prospect of books going away. Surely there are too many people who love them too much? I think a (peaceful) revolution needs to be started. Book Geeks Unite! and we all come out in Times Square holding an open book.
