A century-old family mystery: Is heirloom made out of wood from the Titanic?

Cousins Robert Martorana and Cathy McIsaac always wondered about the origins of their grandmother's picture frame. Growing up, they both heard separate stories about where the frame was from. While Robert was told that that the frame was made from pieces of the Titanic's grand staircase, Cathy was told that the heirloom was made from pieces of the Lusitania.

To solve the mystery and find out where the wood came from, the family brought the frame to Elyse Luray and her team on PBS' "History Detectives."

Martorana and Luray appear on Starting Point this morning to discuss the mystery, which will be solved in tonight's episode of the show.
