The popular reality TV show "Toddlers in Tiaras" follows the controversial world of child beauty pageants, highlighting the lengths young girls and their families will go to in order to win crowns and titles.
One of the show's breakout stars is six-year-old pageant contestant Alana Thompson, or "Honey Boo Boo." Alana's well-known for her outrageous sayings and her hyperactive outbursts after drinking a beverage her family has deemed "go-go juice."
Alana is now the star of her own reality show on TLC called "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo." The show, which premieres tomorrow at 10pm ET, features the entire Thompson family at home in rural Georgia.
On Starting Point this morning, "Honey Boo Boo" and her mom June sit down to discuss her new show and to respond to critics of young girls in pageants.

Childrens actually follow the parents education and training in life so boo boo congrats so many happiness will come on way...
That is it!!! Someone call CPS!!! That child is FAT and UNHEALTHY.
I would like to thank CNN for legitimizing these people and their absurdities. We, as Americans, didn't think we coudl sink lower, culturally, than we already are, but you are helping us do just that. Bravo.
I don't know what quite to make of this. This is not how I raised my children and I hope to GOD my son isn't placing bills in the G-string of this potential train wreck, many years from now.
I really hope she has a good life, however I don't see this in her future.
Watching this show will cause you to lose brain cells.
I feel sorry for this kid. She comes from Dog Patch, USA, and her family looks like the characters from that place. You have to wonder if they have moonshine stills in the backyard and sisters married to brothers. Just no class here at all.
Yuck. Just... yuck.
This family is revolting and this child is not cute.
Honey boo boo? really CNN? you have sunk to a new low.
What an absolute waste of electricity
