What's the best sandwich in America? Travel Channel host Adam Richman on his quest for the best

"Imagination bound by two pieces of bread" - that's how Travel Channel host Adam Richman of "Man vs. Food" fame describes America's best sandwich.

Richman has been on the hunt in his series “Best Sandwich in America," to find America’s best hoagie. So far Richman has narrowed the competition from 30 sandwiches down to 10 of his regional favorites and two never before seen or tasted wild cards.

This morning on “Starting Point,” Soledad O’Brien had the opportunity to taste two of Richman’s New York favorites and discuss the difficulty behind choosing the ultimate sandwich.

The championship finale of the "Best Sandwich in America" takes place on the Travel Channel this Wednesday, August 15 at 9:00 pm Eastern.
