Get Real! Akin 'misspoke' on rape

Rep. Todd Akin (R-MO) says he 'misspoke' in an interview when he said "legitimate rape" rarely results in pregnancy.

    Tod Atkins, spoke before he thought,God forbid if he was thinking as he made such a foolish statement. Legitimate rape does not result in pregnancy. There is no woman that is in agreement with rape/consenting! #SMH

    What a stupid thing to say. It implies that if the woman becomes pregnant from the incident, she must have wanted it. I believe he absolutely knows he stuck his foot in his mouth and can't back paddle fast enough.
