Where in the h*** did Soledad Obrien get her journalism degree?? I want to make sure my son, who would like to be a journalist one day, does not go there. CNN please take her off of the air.....horrible style and absolutely no class! There are better ways to make your point without getting visably angry and "huffing". Very unprofessional, in my opinion.

As a New Yorker, who lived under the Giuliani reign of terror, let dispel some myths:

    1) He was a terrible mayor

    2) The only reason your don't know this is because he was the mayor during 9/11

    3) He did nothing special during 9/11. He just knew where to take pictures.

    4) He's a bigger big government guy than Obama could ever be.

Is Giuliani not smart enough to understand her comment. Her question had nothing to do with George Bush. it was an example of how long it takes to get an accurate picture of an unfolding situation like the one IN Libya. It's obvious that when you want to attack the President it doesn't matter if the attack is valid. This man is obnoxious similar to Sununu, et al.

Kudos! You asked a pertinent question. You noticed it wasn't answered. You said it wasn't answered. You persisted. Refreshing to see a journalist acting like a journalist.

Yikes, this exchange was more heated than the #2 Presidential debate. What's with all the anger? Deep breath, everybody. It really is possible to have a discussion without getting all upset. Peace.

Obama administration pulled two security teams AWAY from Ambassador Stevens less than a month before Sept 11 2012!! Do your homework, Soledad! It is almost like Obama wanted him dead! They pull out his security, refuse his pleas for extra security, ignore pleas for rescue during the 7 hour ordeal...it's a little weird! And remember what Obama said about it when he knew damn well this was a lie...“That is what we saw in the last two weeks was a crude and disgusting video sparked outrage throughout the Muslim world. I have made it clear that the government had nothing to this video. We understand why people take offense to this video because millions of our citizens are among them. There is no video that justifies an attack on an embassy.”

This president just lied, plain and simple. There were survivors of the attacks who could tell all. EVERYONE involved knew it wasn't a phoney baloney video problem. Shame on you for defending this debacle!

Soledad, your hero Obamais a liar. you want transcripts? Here's your transcript. “That is what we saw in the last two weeks was a crude and disgusting video sparked outrage throughout the Muslim world. I have made it clear that the government had nothing to this video. We understand why people take offense to this video because millions of our citizens are among them. There is no video that justifies an attack on an embassy.”

You are so obnoxiously partisan and rude, it is unbelievable. Do journalism a favor and go to work for the DNC.

I thought the questions to Giuliani were valid. But I want to know if you are asking your liberal guests why the administration is putting out statements that they have not confirmed are true. I can't understand why this response of "well, we just told the american people what we were told" seems to be acceptable, Ms. O'Brien. The fact of the matter is that we were given false information. That is significant and deserves more in depth questions from you.

The Republicans really need to stop making Obama looking like the bad guy. Bush knew about 9/11 bombing before it did happened. Obama get the blame for Libya's bombing. Bush didn't get the blame for 9/11 bombing. This world exist around racism and close minded people who have no respect for Obama.

Great job Soledad on redirecting Giuiliani on his answers and "putting words in your mouth"! I appreciated your coming back at him when he was trying so hard to continue his spin. You took control. Nice.

Disagree. I think Soledad is getting more like Hannity, Mathews, Oberman and Linbaugh. She invites people on her sow, then talks over them, interrupts them and is just plain rude. I don't know why anyone would even bother being on her show. She needs to go over to MSNBC, she is blatantly anti conservative.

I thought your interview was a disgrace. Cnn chooses not to post most critical comments but your lack of objectivity, your obvious bias but even more importantly your distortion of facts was a journalistic disgrace. It is so sad we have gone from the likes of Edward r murrow to journalists like o'brian. She is in the tank for Obama and so are CNNs ratings. Good for Rudy- send o' Brian to Chicago with the rest of the Obama team. Whether he wins or loses she is a revolting example of a so called journalist.

Soledad, who told you that you are a journalist ???

You do not make out the mail room ....................... If you wouldn't use your political connections, you wouldn't be
in CNN. .......... Yes I know, I can change the channel ..........and so I do .

I saw this interview on another site. That was great! I wish more would take that stand in trying to get an answer while they are trying to twist their way out of your question. I felt you did so in a manner where your position was not on any side, just wanting an answer. and you were strong and tough about it. Now that's what I call good journalism. I don't watch a lot of CNN – especially at that time, however I'll be tuning in to check out your program tomorrow.
    Really good job!!

You did a great job interviewing Rudy Giuliani today, but the question you should ask next time is this–When you say that due to the prior attack on embassy grounds in Libya that President Obama should have known that another was about to occur, is that like when the World Trade Center was bombed and the Bush Administration did nothing (despite intelligence chatter warning of the coming attack) to prevent the attacks that destroyed both towers of the WTC on 9/11? Are you accusing Mr. Obama of the same sin that Mr. Bush committed?

Here we go again... always making comparisons to Bush. Will you dems and liberals ever get over that. Hell, why don't we blame Bush Sr. too. And Maybe George Washington. And Abe Lincoln. You people are so blind sighted by the truth. Get over your annointed one and do what's best for your COUNTRY before it becomes run by a dictator.

So because because Bush supposedly didn't do anything to prevent the attacks that makes this one okay? Some reasoning you have. Four Americans dead for trying to protect our country and you liberals still bring up Bush. Thank God I'm an independent and I am not brainwashed or defined by party lines.

Way to go Soledad! You put this man in his place. It nauseates me to hear this man and many other republicans speak! The republican party has fallen off the deep end. That's too bad, because republicans do have some valid idea's, but they have gone beyond what they stand for and to think these idea's could run our country is scary to say the least. So so sad. I am sick and tired of their nonsense politics!!!!

    Ms. Obrien,

I just watched your interview with the former Mayor of NY. Have you gone back and watched yourself interviewing him? You wouldn't let him get out an answer before jumping in time and time again. Your job as a reporter is to present neutral sides and acurate sides of a story. I do not appreciate nor do I care what your thought are.

The fact that the Obama Administration decided to blame the attack on a video is the issue. They knew before hand there where attacks; Amb. Stevens had asked for more security; it was 9/11 for God's sake. Why on earth this President would go to the UN and blame the attack on a video is beyond me. He should have said we are still investigating.

If this was a Republican president, you would be reporting on this attack 24/7. Instead you guys choose to report on Big-Bird, Binders-of-Women; Romnesia. You guys are the reason 50% of people are voting again for Obama. You guys make them think everything is ok and that he has been a good president.

How about reporting on issues that matter to the people so we can make informed decisions. Here's a good question:
How is Romney's Massachusett's Insurance Coverage similar to Obamacare. Did it have pre-existing contions included? Will my parents who are on medicare have to pay more for Obamacare insurance. Right now, they pay nothing (we live in Florida they have Well-care). Will my family have to pay? My husband works and I stay home with the kids.

Stick to issues we care about and not your personal opinions. Also, if you have a guest on the show and you ask them a quesions, let them answer. I actually wanted to hear what the Mayor had to stay. Since you didn't allow him, i had to conclude that you are a democrate and didn't want anyone to hear what he had to say because your #1 concern is getting Obama re-elected. CNN is going downhill. First Candy, now you....sad....
