Bergen Co. Police: Possible levee breach could mean 1,000 in need of rescue, some from roofs of homes

This morning on "Early Start," Bergen County Police's Jeanne Baratta reports on a possible levee breach in the Bergen County area, affecting Moonachie, Little Ferry and Carlstadt.

She tells Soledad says it's not clear if it's a dam or levee breach near Moonachie but 'something was compromised.' She adds that possibly 1,000 people will require rescue due to levee break and they're rescuing people from the roofs of their homes.

    Theres 6 of us plus 2 dogs and a neighbor who is 82+ years old. And also a elderly couple who are trapped in the second floor of the house. We have about 4-5 feet deep of water . PLease if anyone could just let them know we are at moli nari street moonachie NJ. I am running out of battery on my laptop and will not be able to follow up . Thanks
