Scientist Bill Nye explains what happened when a meteor streaks through the skies over Russia, and whether it could be connected to the asteroid that is expected to make a close flyby to the earth.
Is there A chance I could have seen this meteor in Kansas? After ten PM last night I saw the most incredible falling star. I was facing south looking out my window. I live on a cattle ranch in north central Kansas and the sky was beautifully clear. I thought at the time it was the brightest and fastest I'd ever seen. Remarkable!
Just curious, don't know where else to ask.
