Newtown victim's daughter on challenging Sen. Ayotte: 'I just want to make my mom a human to them'

Erin Lafferty lost her mother Dawn Hochsprung on Dec. 14th in the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting. Hochsprung was the principal and she died trying to protect her students. In her memory, Erica has fought for gun reform.

At a town hall event Tuesday, Erica confronted Senator Kelly Ayotte (R-NH) who voted against a recent gun control measure. She questioned why the Senator believes background checks are a burden on gun owners.

"I'm just wondering why the burden of my mother being gunned down in the halls of her elementary school is not as important," Erin asks Sen. Ayotte.

The senator went on to explain she thinks the problem lies in the mental health reform, but that wasn't good enough for Erica. She joins John and Christine on "Starting Point" to explain how she is keeping the memory of her mother alive through her work on gun control.

Those who voted against the Universal Background Checks stood up not just for the NRA gun lobby and its Southern Confederate Secessionist agenda, but also for the skinheaded white supremacists and inner city gangs and other domestic terrorist groups, as well as Al Qaeda...

...who have openly demanded that they have open access to military weaponry for their openly stated “fight against the government” (read: war against America).

They are cowardly reprobates of the NRA gun lobby... and a disgrace to all that is decent in America and the moral, Liberal Constitutional Values that make us the envy of the world.

They supported the enemies of America against the 90%: our families and communities and reasonable gun safety regulations.

Now America knows their true soul: the souls of cowards who don’t have the balls to stand up against the NRA Confederate secessionists, skinheads, gangs, white supremacists and all terrorists.

From here on out, any child, any baby, any adolescent, student in our schools or universities, families in theaters, shopping malls, church or mosque or on the streets or our neighborhoods, by gangs or terrorists or skinheads or white supremacists supporting the NRA cowards and who spill the blood of our families and communities…

…that blood is on their souls and they are stained by their votes against America.

    They are Cowards
