PREVIEW: Jill Biden talks to Soledad O'Brien about honoring our troops, says GOP has gone 'way far right'

In an interview that is scheduled air on "Starting Point with Soledad O'Brien" on Thursday at 7am Eastern, Jill Biden, wife of Vice President Joe Biden, talks about her new children's book "Don't Forget, God Bless Our Troops" and weighs in on the state of politics.

"I think the parties are really disparate," Biden tells Soledad. "The Republican party has gone way far right than it has gone before. It's certainly not the Republican party I grew up with."

Soledad asks if that polarization will have an impact in the November elections.

"I think voters are going to have a clear choice," Biden says. "I think Mitt and Barack are on totally different paths...you've got clear choices. That's what I think."

"Of course I think you know our choice is the best," she adds. "I think you know that's the path I hope Americans choose."

Watch the full interview on "Starting Point with Soledad O'Brien" Thursday at 7am Eastern.

Seriously? Left right up or down...Does it really matter? Until you take the MONEY out of politics, we will continue to get the same garbage. PS....Still waiting on that "CHANGE" I was sold in 2008. (I Dont consider DOUBLING the national debt in first 100 days of office change)

Of course the GOP ha gone far right. The farther extreme left the democrats go, the farther extreme right go the republicans.

The answer is NOT more extremism. The answer is both parties need to move back to the middle.

The democrats haven't gone extreme left. Most of them are right of center. Obama isn't left wing, he's actually pretty far right. Just not as far as mittens.

Democrats going extreme left? REALLY!? Get your head out of your backside idiot. Democrats are right where they have always been. Looking out for the poor, the middle class, the FREEDOM of religion. Republicans have given up on the poor (Mitten's statement "I'm not worried about the poor."), have chosen the EMPLOYER over the EMPLOYEES, and want to FORCE their religious beliefs on everyone else! It's not that the Democrats have moved so far to the left, it's that the Republicans have moved so far to the right that now the center looks like the left!
