The world is getting its first look this morning at Microsoft's answer to Apple's iPad. The software giant has unveiled its new tablet, called Surface. It comes with Windows RT, which is Microsoft's own tablet software, and a few unique features, including a foldout cover that acts a full keyboard.

The announcement sent the tech world into a frenzy - because that's what they do - speculating on how it's going to measure up to the iPad. co-founder Alexis Ohanian weighs in on if Microsoft's Surface tablet could provide real competition to Apple's iPad.
