President Obama is leading Republican nominee Mitt Romney in the key battleground states of Florida, Ohio and Virginia, according to new NBC News/Wall Street Journal polls.
Among likely voters, Obama is ahead of Romney by five points in both Florida and Virginia, beating the former Massachusetts governor 49% to 44%. The president's lead is even larger in Ohio, where he is ahead of Romney 50% to 43%.
