Tough Call: NFL pulls side judge who posted pics in Saints gear

Just hours before the New Orleans Saints/Carolina Panthers kick off yesterday, the NFL pulled side judge Brian Stropolo from the game after ESPN outed him as a rabid Saints fan through pictures he posted on Facebook.

The NFL insists that replacement refs are subjected to the same background checks as the full-time refs, but Stropolo's allegiance to the Saints somehow slipped through the cracks.

Soledad O'Brien and the Starting Point team weigh in on the incident on the show this morning.

    Soledad, I am shocked at your manipulating, narrowing of the information on Romney, really!! Even your introduction of the info was anti Romney. Shame!!! There is a fuller statement that makes clear that he was talking about voter strategy, and you left out the very well presented explanation that Romney made last night, or did you not see that? How about covering the activities of the Obama 2008 bundles and who got executive positions and stimulus money, his bundles!!! Jeeese get your act together!
