Romney gains ground in Ohio, though his biggest challenge is with women voters – CNN’s John King reports

If Mitt Romney wants to win the White House, he will almost certainly have to win Ohio first.

A new CNN-ORC poll of likely Ohio voters shows Romney gaining ground. The GOP nominee is within 4 points of President Obama, putting the poll tally at a statistical dead heat.

The survey which was released Tuesday, was conducted entirely after last Wednesday’s first presidential debate. While the new poll shows Romney up in suburbs and up among independents, a closer look reveals his challenge to gain support among a key demographic – women.

CNN's Chief National Correspondent John King reports the latest from Columbus, Ohio this morning on “Starting Point.”
