Beau Biden on his dad's debate performance: Anytime the Right is going after you on style points, you know you've won the argument

This morning on "Starting Point," Soledad talks with Beau Biden, son of Vice President Joe Biden. He shares how he thought the first and only vice presidential debate of the 2012 election fared for his dad's reelection.

"I thought he had a command of that stage," Biden says. "It's important to talk to the American people about the facts. He went into great depth about the facts and painting the very stark contrast we had between the two tickets here."

He also addresses the criticism that the Vice President received about his debate style, which some have said came off as aggressive and condescending.

"My dad enjoyed being up there. He was respectful to the Congressman. People are criticizing him for smiling too much. You know, look, any time that the right is going after you on style points, you know you've won the argument," Biden says.
