Rudy Giuliani: Mitt Romney will be ‘very, very good’ in second debate

On “Starting Point,” former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani argues that Mitt Romney will be “very, very good” on Tuesday night in the second presidential debate. Looking ahead to debate night, the former mayor says President Barack Obama’s performance is “more of a question,” considering Obama's "troubling" first debate.

Soledad O'Brian's hectoring of Mr Giuliani was a travesty. She is not a journalist, but rather a propagandist. A journalist should speak truth to power, and investigate what happened in Benghazi. Instead, her only concern is to join the cover up because it may make the Chosen One look bad. "Trusted name in news"? What a farce.

After all her protestations over Rudy's commentary on the Obama administration's missteps, I guess we know who Soledad is voting for this year. C'mon, let the guy speak so the audience can make up their minds.

Re/ Guiliani suggests Libya "cover up"- I suggest that Soledad O'Brien needs to "pull the tapes " of the late great Tim Russert to see how a real journalist conducts an interview! Her conduct is better suited for MSNBC with the likes of Chris Matthews! To quote Martin Luther King Jr.- "Nothing in the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity."

It has become glaringly clear that Soledad can no longer be called a real news reporter. Like so many of the extreme right leaning commentators, she has shown that she is so far to the left that she can never act as an objective news reporter. Once you let your own personal political agenda infiltrate your daily news reporting, no one will ever take you seriously again as a news journalist. Soledad becomes a rabid dog when interviewing anyone with a conservative view. But watch her drool all over left leaning interviewees. This isn't a crime... Just don't call yourself a real investigative journalist. In truth she is just another political hack pushing her own personal agenda. Better to treat all of her reporting as "entertainment journalism" not real news reporting or legitimate news discussion.

Hahahaha sounds like the mayor is getting hounded by this crew...hahaha. Good for him for being the only one to keep his cool and not let himself be pushed around at the same time.

Sad that we have gone from the likes of Edward R. Murrow and Walter Lippmann to the likes of Soledad. Her interviews lately are so biased and lacking in integrity that it further undermines CNN as a source of news. Nothing more than a shrill for Obama. As a journalist she is sadly lacking in objectivity and integrity.

Caught CNN this morning at the gym as I would never watch it at home. However, I was impressed with your inclusion of Guiliani as a guest. He was right that you do seem like the mouthpiece for the administration. I would love to have a truly independent news station as I'm not a fan of Fox either. Please keep working on being more objective.

Rudi Giuliani ran off at the mouth as usual this morning. I would have thrown him off the show this morning. He continues to make statements about people and issues he knows nothing about. PLEASE DON"T ASK HIM BACK AS A GUEST ON ANY OF YOUR NETWORKS. He isn't even a good Republican. Good job Soledad.........

What a surprise – support for the gormless O'Brian from a Giuliani hating Democrat – she claims to be impartial you know.

      Says it all.
