The do's and don'ts of office lottery pools

At $425 million, Wednesday’s Powerball drawing is set to be the biggest jackpot in the history of the game.

The previous Powerball record was $365 million, won by eight co-workers at a Nebraska meatpacking plant in 2006. Each of the colleagues received a little over $15 million after taxes.

Many Americans will likely try their luck as part of an office pool on Wednesday, but what are the do’s and don’t of office pools?

Legal expert and estate attorney Ann Margaret Carrozza sits down with the Starting Point team this morning with advice on how to handle lottery pools and avoid bad situations in the event of a win.
