Is U.S. near a flu peak? CDC's Finelli says slight decline in flu activity may be indicator

Doctors across the U.S. have been wondering when the country will reach a peak in the spread of the flu. Every state except for California, Hawaii, and Mississippi are now in the grip of the widespread flu epidemic. Some pharmacies have been having trouble keeping up with the demand for the flu shot especially in places like New York where Governor Andrew Cuomo declared a public health emergency.

This morning Dr. Lyn Finelli of the CDC's Influenza Division joins “Starting Point” to discuss concerns regarding the vaccine and the latest on the flu epidemic.
