Mesirow Financial's Diane Swonk weighs in on the March jobs report and what it means for the economy. The Labor Department's March jobs report shows 88,000 jobs were created, and the unemployment rate dropped to 7.6%.
The unemployment rate is worse than what is being reported. I am in my mid-twenties with 2 bachelor's degrees, but have been unable to find a stable job in over 3 years. I know for a fact that there are millions of people in America that are still unemployed or underemployed. I feel that all news networks are not talking enough about jobs. Most people in the country are still living in the Great Recession. Stop praising the President for doing a great job when the country is rotting from within.
