Mom: Jessica Heeringa likely lured from work

(CNN) - Police have put a face with the description of a man suspected of kidnapping a Michigan gas station cashier.

Jessica Heeringa, 25, was abducted from an Exxon station in Norton Shores, where she was working alone sometime around 11 p.m. Friday, police have said.

Earlier they released a description of a suspect, a white male, about 6 feet tall, between 30 and 40 years old, with wavy hair parted in the middle. On Tuesday evening, police released a sketch of the suspect.

Police also are looking for a silver minivan - possibly a Chrysler Town and Country - that was seen at the gas station.

Jessica Heeringa's family, mom Shelly Heeringa & fiance Dakota Quail-Dyer, spoke with CNN's John Berman and Zoraida Sambolin on "Starting Point" this morning to discuss the ongoing search. Shelly Heeringa also explains why she thinks her daughter was likely lured from her post by someone she was familiar with.

People with information that may help find Jessica Heeringa are asked to call the Norton Shores police at 231-733-2691.
