Farewell from 'Starting Point'

"Starting Point" airs its final show today, signing out after over a year of delivering a variety of the latest stories of the day. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.

From bringing you the top stories in politics to breaking news across the globe to interviews with celebrities and leaders in government and discussions with panelists of the highest caliber, creating the starting point for your morning news was our top priority at CNN and that of former anchor Soledad O'Brien, who signed off this March.

That commitment to bringing you a round up of fresh stories daily continues in a new direction with "New Day".

Please tune in every weekday morning from 6am to 9am ET on CNN and begin your mornings with Chris Cuomo, Kate Bolduan, and Michaela Pereira on "New Day" every day.

It has only been 2 days and I already miss Starting Point. There is too much drama on the New Day show. I hope CNN realizes that people want news not theater soon. Someone needs to tell the blonde lady to tone it down a notch or two.

For now I guess I am back to HLN, Fox and Morning Joe for my morning news info.

    Thank you.

Starting Point with Soledad O'Brian was incredible. Soledad presented the news with passion, compassion, vigor and complete knowledge of the topic she was presenting from politics to Sandy Hook, she had it covered. There is no replacing Soledad O'Brien. CNN's "replacement show" New Day...Not even in the same league as Soledad with Starting Point.
