Crews are battling five different fires across the state of Colorado this morning. Some 5,000 people living in an area threatened by the biggest of the fires have been told to leave their homes. That’s near Colorado Springs where the Black Forest Fire is burning right now.

"Have your preparedness kits ready to go so that you can be out of your home for three days up to a week if something like this strikes," she says.
