For some women, no matter how painful, if the shoe sort of fits, we wear it. As long as it looks good. But what is the explanation for that culture these women choose to adopt, opting for couture over comfort? A new study is providing some answers. Christine Romans has the details.

Two Victims of the Texas Tornadoes share their emotional story of the night the tornadoes hit

Patricia Lopez and Atyka Ditto saw the funnel cloud swirling just minutes before it hit their neighborhood in Granbury, Texas. they grabbed blankets and pillows and huddled with their children, patti's sister, and a friend in a bathtub as the tornado tore through the area. the twister tore the roof off over their heads but miraculously left everyone in the bathtub unharmed. Patricia and Atyka are in Granbury Texas joining Christine Romans on 'Starting Point.'

Currently there are six reported deaths, and seven people still missing in Northern Texas where at least 16 tornadoes hit Wednesday night.

Billy Porter and Cyndi Lauper are on 'Starting Point' talking with Zoradia Sambolin and Christine Romans about the show 'Kinky Boots.' The Broadway musical has received an astounding 13 Tony Award Nominations this year including Best Male Actor for Porter. Grammy Award winning artist, Cyndi Lauper is nominated for best original score in a musical. If she wins she will make history and become the first female artist ever to win this award.

The Tony Awards will air live on June 9th at 8:00PM (ET) on CBS.

Brenda Chapman Co-Director of Disney's Animated film Brave signs petitions against main character Merida's makeover

Brenda Chapman is the academy award winner, creator and co-director for Disney's global box office animated hit film Brave.

Recently Disney announced that Brave's main character Merida would be made into Disney's 11th princess. Disney gave Merida a makeover that some claim is too sexy for the character that is known for being the antithesis of the stereotypical Disney Princess.

Chapman says she was 'a bit appalled' when she saw what Disney did to Merida. She feels that Disney 'has completely lost sight of the character in this new design."

Chapman has signed an online petition that has already received over 120,000 signatures.

Two 17-year old sisters meet for the first time at a High School track event

Two sisters were living in the same city, playing the same high school sport but were strangers to each other. Four months ago at a High School track event the two sisters met for the very first time after friends and teammates pointed out to the pair the striking resemblance the two shared. Robin Jeter and Jordan Dickerson sit down to talk to John Berman and Christine Romans on ‘Starting Point’ talking about how they found each other, and the wonderful close bond they have formed.

Jeter says that it did not take long for the two to figure out that they were sisters.

Dickerson describes this whole experiences as initially 'scary,' and claims when the two first met it was "like looking into a mirror."
