A week before its release Zero Dark Thirty already causing a stir

The film Zero Dark Thirty has yet to come out and has caused a lot of controversy already. Howard Kurtz and Lauren Ashburn from The Daily Beast discuss the several debates circling the movie with Soledad.

The main argument surrounding the film is should it be considered a docu-drama or a work of fiction? It was reportedly based on a real CIA account. But with so many questions unanswered about what really happened when Osama bin laden was killed, critics pick apart every part of the film. Scenes depicting extended torture and having the story focused around a female have people believing the film has added more intensity and market value to sell tickets.

Nominated for four Golden Globes, the film will be released on December 19, 2012.
